The worst period in someone's life is the transition period from a student to a full timer! Ena suthi irukara vaa elarumae ipo vela thedindu iruka. Mukiyama Ashwin and Manoj!

Ashwin had this interview on wednesday and Manoj had one on thursday. They have been into job hunting from January. They were a bit frustrated and tensed as 5 months had already elapsed.

Enaku epomae oru feeling. Enakunu vendinda nadakartha vida mathavaluku vendinda nadakum nu. So wednesday evening kovil ku poi oru archanai panitu, oru kutty prayer panen. Rendu matter umm super aah nadanthuduthu na, enaku pudicha ice cream vitudaren nu :)

Thursday anikae Ashwin flew to North Carolina. He got into Accenture on a 3 month project. Manoj called me 45 mins back and told me he got through the interview and has to join from May 16th and the company has promised his H1B.

God never fails me. And he hasnt this time too :)

Something told me this is going to happen. So ushar aaah evening Shake and Steak poitu oru periya Vanilla Brownie Fudge sapten :)

Something i always wonder about....

My trip to Canada...

Epo varuvan nu wait panindu irunthen :)

After a longgggg month wait, Ashwin reached Dayton on 20th March 2006 evening. 8 hrs continuous aaaah otindu vantha tiredness paavam! Vandha odanae thoongitan. I was damn happy when i saw him! Cinema mathiri odi poi hug panindu scene potom!!! ;) Night school ku poi map elam printout eduthom. Walmart poitu last minute "visa interview accessories" shopping nadanthuthu :) We left to detroit for the canadian visa consulate at about 2 am on 21st. McDonald laa dress mathindu we went to the consulate at 9 am. Oru vazhiya 10.30 ku we got the visa and started driving back. Aniku lunch was at the same Mc D :) Evening 3.30 ku Dayton vanthutu class poga ready aaanen. Hall laa Ashwin and Arun thoongaratha pathen. Manasa mathindu nanum silent aaah thoongiten :) Bad influence ;)

Wednesday afternoon around 1.30 pm we started driving to Toronto. Ashwin oru Lincoln (Yeah!) eduthundu vanthan! So the drive was less painful as there was lot of room to move about. Arun 75% otinan, Achu 25% otinan apram sorga thoookam! Kadasi varaikum thoongama iruntha thu nan than :( We reached Toronto at about 1 am and crashed at Downtowner Inn. Aduthanal kaathala ezhunthu seeekarama ready agi we went to the US consulate. Ashwin had his H1B visa interview at 1.30 on 23rd. Me and arun mama waited at Tim Horton's and Timothys. Achu came out at 2. Oraeee tension kalantha punnagai. Visa kedachuduthu :) Evening konja neram rest eduthundu we went to an Indian/Pakistani Restaurant. King's Palace. Gud fud.
Apram we went to a movie. V for Vendetta. En route our way back home, we visited Indian Baazar. Thamizh hoardings patha odanae sema kushi :)

Aniku night evanunga rendu perum sema thanni! Bad boys! They promised me that next day zoo kutindu poren nu. Kudikaran pechu vedin ja pochu. Enga! Vedinja apram kooda ivanunga ezhunthukala. Next day 12.30 ku ezhunthanunga. I was soooooo mad :( Apram chinese baazar poitu saptom. Achu poi avanoda visa collect panindu vanthan. We left to Niagara. Pora vazhila Chinese food athoda velaya katiduthu! Achu kum arun kum pichinduduthu!!! hee hee :) Gas station la oru 45 mins waste pannanunga.

Niagara was awesome. Words are never enuf to describe its beauty. I was lost for a while. Rombha sandhoshama irunthu thu to have seen it with ashwin. I missed amma and appa. But i am determined to take them there when they come for my graduation.

Us border aah oru 10 ku cross panom. Thanks to Arun's sleepy driving we reached Dayton at 5.
Oru mathiri azhuthu ashwin aaah saturday night varaikum iruka vechuten. Evening kovil ponom. Apram Ashwin oda favorite mexican restaurant. We watched Final Destination 3. It sucked! Night saaptu oru 10 ku achu kelambinan. Bayangarama azhuthu scene poten :(

After having lived with him for a yr and a half, I am just not okay with anybody else. There can never be more a wonderful, caring, considerate, funny, friendly, ever-smiling, loving and super cool person than this dumb idiot. I miss you Achu!

Avlo than enoda trip.... Was short but very very memorable!
