Snow storm...

To some ppl snow is fun, to some others it is irritating, to me it is depressing. And it snowed about 6 inches today. So stayed home all evening and cooked.

Sandhya made a snowman. Took lots of pictures with the snowman and Ashwin. Hmmm! Do we see a similarity ;)

I escaped last December's snow storms cuz i was away at Austin with my sisters. But i guess i am stuck here till the end of this month. After a beautiful summer and a colourful fall, snow makes things appear like a black and white movie. Leaves and flowers wither away and trees look like they have been taken outta horror movies. Shiverrrrrrrrrrrrr! Madras la 21 yrs irunthutu, i can survive extreme heat waves. But kuluru thangala!! Thanni adikara pazhakam vera illaya ;)

I am ok with snow if it disappears the next day. But it turns into ice and makes life miserable. It is very easy to walk in snow. But not so in ice. A fellow student fell couple of days back and broke his left hand. I believe they r going to fix a plate in the following week. I hope i dont fall. I already did last week and it hurt :(
